Jeannie Watt has a Give Away!

Hey everyone! I’m traveling today. This will be my seventh time crossing the Mississippi, but who’s counting? My son and his wife live in Virginia and I’m very excited to visit them in their new home. Since I will be traveling and answering comments will be tricky, I’ve decided to do a giveaway! All you need to do to be eligible for one of two $10 Amazon gift certificates, is to tell me where you would like to visit. What is your dream destination? I can’t wait to hear! (The winner will be announced Sunday afternoon.)

Best wishes,

Jeannie

  1. We’ve yet to make it to the Grand Canyon, Jeannie, so that’s my choice.

Have fun with your family. What part of VA? I grew up S.E. of Wash., D.C. in Prince Georges County, MD.

  2. I have been to all 50 states and 45 other countries. My husband and I had planned to go to Australia and New Zealand for out 20th anniversary this year, but then we discovered that our passports had expired, and we couldn’t get them back in time. So, we went to St. Augustine, Florida, instead. It was a great trip, but I would say Australia and New Zealand for where I’d like to go next.

  3. Hey Jeannie! I’d love to visit TN. Ride horses with the cowboys on a ranch and do some two steppin to the country tunes.

  4. The only destination on my bucket list is heaven. I try to live each day as my last and find happiness and joy in everything that I do even housework.

  5. Hope you have safe travels. And a wonderful time when you get there.
I would like to travel back to CA where our daughter lives.
    I grew up in CA.

  6. My dream destination is Scotland but here in the States I would love to visit Charleston, South Carolina.and Savannah, Georgia

  7. Hey Jeannie! Have fun with family! I would like to finish seeing all the USA states. And I wouldn’t mind visiting MacInkinaw Island again! Over seas? Maybe Scotland and Ireland.

    Best wishes!

  8. Here in America, I’d love to go to Alaska and see the northern lights. But abroad, it’s a toss up between Ireland or Switzerland. The problem is I’ve never been on an airplane (and really don’t have a desire to fly); so I guess I’ll have to do my traveling through books for now!??

    Safe and happy travels!

  9. Crossing the Mississippi is always fun and thought provoking, especially those of us who enjoy history and recognize the great importance of that waterway! As I am now “over 55”, I think just something here in the West that I have always thought beautiful – I would like to go back to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks.

  10. My dream destination would be Ireland. I’ve always wanted to go there. Have safe travels and enjoy your family visit. God bless.

  11. I have seen a lot of European countries but not Spain. Also Portugal, which I hear is an interesting place to visit. Those are my choices.

  12. Hope you have a great trip. I live in the south central part of Virginia.
I really want to go to Scotland, Australia and Hawaii.

  13. At this point in my life driving across the US again to visit my family in the foot hills of the Adirondacks is a dream. Enjoy your visit with your family. I visited Virginia a couple of times when our daughter worked in DC.

  14. Having traveled the United States, Canada and the world extensively, I would like to revisit Japan, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

  15. My dream destination is Ireland and I Sure would love to go to Stewart, Ireland one of the places of my ancestors not to mention that I would love to explore all the castles and even live in one especially Stewart Castle.

  16. My dream destinations are England and Paris. Have a safe trip. Thank you for the opportunity. God bless you.

  17. I’ve been blessed to be able to travel a lot (in the US) in my lifetime, but one place I’ve never been that has always been a dream destination is Maine & the other little NE states. I’d love to take a trip there in the fall! I only lack those few upper NE states & North Dakota from traveling to all 48 lower states & I hope to make that happen in my lifetime. Lord willing! Alaska would also be beautiful to see. I have no desire to go to Hawaii because I don’t care for flying, especially across the ocean.

Another place that I will always want to visit & never tire of is West Virginia. I lived in Pocahontas County (Green Bank area) for six years as a child/teen & it will forever hold a piece of my heart!! I’ve visited many, many times since moving back to Missouri at 14, but it has been several years now since I’ve been able to go back. It calls to me often, but my health is not as good as it used to be. I hope to be able to return sometime soon.

  18. I want to see what’s left of the prairie. And Montana, I’ve always wanted to go there.
