It’s Yee-Haw Day!

The fillies are riding in with news fit for sharing!

I’m riding in with two exciting releases. First, a box set release, and then a new book in my series, the Red Ridge Chronicles. Here’s a little about each!

A sheriff with a secret, a heartbreaking love triangle, and a woman betrayed in a devastating way. Twice. Let these three historical stories sweep you away to the small town of Spring Falls. Each of these books was published independently, and now are together in one collection.

Find it here.

Kent Jackson came to Red Ridge seeking redemption. As the new hotel owner, he’s determined to build a reputable business and become part of the community—a fresh start where no one knows his past. But peace proves elusive. When trouble arrives, Kent must choose: cooperate with dangerous men, or watch innocent people suffer. Including the woman who’s captured his attention and made him hope for more than he deserves.

When her dying friend pleads for help to finish a renovation project, Ava Howell can’t refuse, even though her promise means leaving her new career and familiar life in New York to travel to a remote ranch in Texas. She’s good at what she does, and the ghost town vacation resort would look great on her resume, but it means tangling with the ex-military cowboy who is determined to stop her as soon as she arrives.

Beau Paxton needs to sell the land and ghost town to save his family’s struggling ranch. He’s a formidable enemy to Ava’s determination, but the harder she works, the more his attraction for her grows. He doesn’t want to set aside his plans so she can succeed at hers, yet he finds himself doing just that…

Will a promise bring a city girl and a sexy cowboy together? Or will a broken one drive them apart?

My new book, “No Finer Dream” will release on March 6th!! It is the final book in the popular Chasing a Dream series.

“Your journey doesn’t have to end in disappointment.”

Lila Hartley had waited for hours on the frozen train platform, a mail-order bride no one came to claim, her trunk beside her like a tombstone. The man who’d promised her marriage, a home, and a future, left her stranded two thousand miles from Boston with nothing but the clothes on her back and a heart full of shattered dreams.

Just when hope was fading, a man emerged from the white curtain of snow like an apparition, took off his coat, and changed her life.

Clay McCallister viewed every woman who had taken a chance on the frontier as the sister he’d failed…a woman who’d risked everything for the possibility of something better, much like the woman standing on the platform in the bitter cold.

Sometimes warmth doesn’t always come from fire — sometimes it comes from the heart.

My second piece of new is…I got a tattoo!! I always said if I was going to have one, I’d want my nephew, Joe Mele, to be the artist. It is an olive branch for my Italian heritage, a cross for my faith, and the initials for my two grandsons!

Did you know the art of tattooing has adorned human skin for millennia? Stop by the Petticoats and Pistols blog on Thursday, March 5th when I’ll be posting about the history of tattoos in the U.S.!

Actually, the history of tattoos goes way past millennia. The oldest known physically confirmed tattoos belong to Ötzi the Iceman, a 5,300-year-old mummy found in the Alps in 1991.

  5. Congratulations to you all!! I really love your tattoo and what and who it stands for Jo-Ann , it is Beautiful!

  6. Sarah. – A nice collection of stories and I like the sound of your new book. Congratulations on the release of both.
Pam. – I have A Cowboy And A Promise in my TBR mountain. This is a good reminder to dig it out and get it read.
Jo-Ann. – Congratulation and best wishes for a successful release of No Finer Dream. Mail-order bride stories are a favorite and this sounds like a good one. Your nephew did a very nice job on your tattoo. You were lucky to have someone you trust and is talented to design and ink your design.
