Welcome Back to Day 4 of Cowboys & Mistletoe (Week 1)

POST 2 OF 2 FOR THURSDAY
CHRISTMAS STOCKING SWEETHEARTS Book 7
Linda Broday’s Love Comes To Christmas

Joy and dreams are fleeting at best, but will a Christmas miracle happen in time?

Someone wants Gillian Everly to believe her beloved Christmas shop, the dream she built from nothing, is haunted. Strange events unsettle her, but she refuses to believe in ghosts. With her Christmas Eve piano performance approaching, she can’t afford distractions.

Enter Brett Love, a rugged local rancher who’s as intrigued by Gillian as he is determined to protect her. When he lends her one of his dogs for safety, it seems like the perfect fix, until the nightmare turns real.

A violent confrontation leaves Gillian’s hand maimed, her music performance in jeopardy, and Brett questioning the solitary life he’s always known. This Christmas, it will take more than faith to keep their dreams, and hearts, alive.

  1. When I was in elementary school one of the teachers participated in CISV – Children’s International Summer Villages. He gave me the name and address of the younger sister of one of his students from England so we could be pen pals. Margaret and I have since lost touch; the postcard would be from her!

  2. The postcard is from a secret admirer. I didn’t know I had one, so I’m looking all around every time I go somewhere to see if someone winks at me.

  3. It’s one of the long lost postcards that got lost in the mail from my dad who sent it from one of his business trips several years ago.

  4. The postcard is from a December visit by friends to Germany (the gentleman was stationed there at one time).

  5. It is a postcard from my mom the year I went and stayed in Puerto Rico when my sister was expecting her first baby and I went to go help her out.

  6. Inside my stocking is a postcard from my Aunt Evelyn. She would write to me as a child and teen. To see her writing now as an adult with a timely message she would have sent back then would me so much to me. Thank you for the opportunity. God bless you.

  7. It’s from me. I mailed it home when I was traveling in India, the first long trip I took. It got lost in the mail and is just now making it to its destination.

  8. It’s from a long forgotten friend from AZ, now KS, who I met as a teenager in 1968. We recently connected again after all these years.

  9. The postcard is from my husband when he was stationed in Korea. He was sent over there three months after we married.

  10. The post card is from an old friend I went to school with. It has been many years since I have seen her. She lives in Kansas.

  11. Inside my stocking is a postcard. Who sent it and where is it from? Doug my first true who shamelessly flirted with me all through high school and despite developing feelings for me he denied that just to be popular with his so called friends and it’s been over 40 years since I seen him but my postcard comes from North Pole where all kinds of magic happens

  12. My post card would be from my Grandmother, Nanny, she passed away many years ago. The card would say, “I am so proud of you and your family, I love you very much! Love Nanny”

She was always an encourager and would often send me notes of encouragement as I was growing up and when I went away to school.

  13. It is from our oldest daughter who is in Tübingen, Germany working on the two week study seminar/trip for law students from her university and the Tübingen University. She planned, organized, and is leading it. It was her third year doing it. I need to figure a way to tag along with her.

  14. It’s from my first friend before she moved away. We used to write each other, then lost touch for a while after high school, life, found each other on Facebook years later.

  15. The postcard was delayed several years from my Mother…(she has since passed) telling me how much she loved all of her children and how special we all are to her. We are blessed to have family that cares & always reaches out not just at the Holidays, but; most days taking time from their busy schedules.
Blessed Wished for a Awesome Christmas & New Year’s with those you love, to everyone!!!

  16. From my grandmother who passed away when I was in my 20s. She placed it in my stocking stating she will always be watching over me and my children.
