I love watching the trees as they change colors, the cool crisp evenings and all the wonderful smells of apples, cinnamon and pumpkin.

It doesn’t feel like autumn yet, but the best part is going on writing retreat with my bestie in the fall. It’s usually always in late September or early October and we write and explore and then write some more.

Usually my favorite thing about Autumn was getting the two kiddos back to school. Than it went to lots of canning. Now it is just getting well and being able to help my husband around the house and outside. We lost one of our cats, so this autumn we are also looking to get another kitten for companion for our still living cat and for ourselves

Ah, Quilt Lady that is ME TOO!!! I hate winter. And, as a woman who lives in Nebraska…you’d think I’d be used to it.
Cooler temps and less humidity. We’ve been tropical here in NW Ohio for a spell even with the temps lower than normal. We don’t see much in the way of colors anymore sadly. It’s like colors one day and gone the next.

My favorite thing about autumn is the cooler temperatures! We’re under a massive heat wave right now, with temps as high as 108 (120 real feel). I’m ready for some crisp nights!
Halloween is the best part of fall.
Autumn makes me sad since I lived summer when my kids were little and the lazy days of fun and making of memories. Autumn always remind those days are over

The colors. Breathe taking as the colors change. The weather provides a great excuse to curl up with a cup of tea and a good book.
I love the Fall produce, cooler weather, and the special scent in the air – part fallen leaves, dirt, and smoke form burning leaves.
Favorite thing about Autumn is the changing colors of leaves that make a blanket to cover the ground in and because it’s in all different colors it’s so pretty
Best part of fall : the changing colors, the scent of dry leaves and corn harvest, apples coloring on the trees and perfuming my yard, truck after truckload of spuds going down the road, the winter wheat coming up turning bare fields green, fairs and rodeos in the PNW.

Meanwhile, autumn? Definitely had it in the air this morning, following horrendous storms with out-of-place tornados popping up unexpectedly up and down the east coast yesterday. It’s weather–it changes. But all the seasons (well, no snow) in one day? Too much!

About everything the leaves changing into beautiful colors. All the fall Festivals and all the pumpkins and all the pumpkin foods and drinks and right to the pumpkin town USA Ct., pumpkin people and pumpkin pets in the village and forest. Oh I just absolutely love to decorate the house and yard for fall. Got the house started and work on the outside the first week in September. Huge fan of fall
