Hi everyone! I’m so glad to be a part of the Christmas Stocking Sweethearts authors, and I can’t wait to tell you a little bit about my story, NOELLE’S CHRISTMAS WISH. It’s a bit longer than most of the others in this series, but I have to tell you, once I got caught up in Noelle’s life and all that was happening to her, I just had to write it the length it needed to be! I’ve often thought how hard it would be to just pick up from somewhere you’d lived most of your life and leave it–I only had to do that one time, the summer before my senior year in high school when my dad got transferred from Oklahoma to West Virginia.
Noelle is a little older than I was when this happened to her, but I love how, though she was dreading the changes she’d go through, things turned out better than she could have ever expected–with a few hiccups along the way, of course!
Here’s the blurb for you to get a better idea of what is going on in Noelle’s life, and her possibility for a very happy ending!
Her wish is to find lasting love…
He’s looking for a new future…
Can a Christmas journey bring a miracle to both?
When her life is turned upside down by her aunt’s death, beautiful Noelle Cutler must leave Texas for Indian Territory, to live in her family-owned cattle ranch dynasty with a relative she barely knows. Noelle’s Christmas wish as she boards the stagecoach is something she’s yearned for the past several years. Now, with an uncertain world unfolding for her, would it be so much to wish for her very own true love this Christmas?
Texas Ranger Kellan Montgomery has a few wishes of his own. Traveling home to Indian Territory, he dreads what awaits him. An unplanned dinner with Noelle the night before they become fellow passengers aboard the northbound train leaves him imagining a different kind of future—one that’s completely opposite from the solitary life of a lawman.
But their newfound romance may come to a deadly end as two ruthless outlaws board the train—men Kellan put in prison. As Kellan and Noelle masquerade as a newlywed couple, their plan goes awry as the train is taken over by a gang of renegades. Danger explodes in a life-or-death situation, and their perilous deception becomes the catalyst for the flames of love to ignite in their desperate bid for survival.

Yes, we know. It’s that time of year when we sometimes feel less kind than we should.
Re-write the sentence in red to something less naughty and more nice. For example:
NAUGHTY: “Grandma’s eggnog is too thick and chunky.”
NICE: “Isn’t it wonderful Grandma is still with us to make her eggnog?”
THERE’S NOTHING BUT CHRISTMAS MOVIES ON TV!

There’s nothing but Christmas movies on TV, but I love Christmas movies so I’m extremely happy!!!
Love that one, Kim. I don’t get to watch Christmas movies that often since Hubby is not into those but I do make sure I watch some fo the old “standbys” every year. One of my faves is Miracle on 34th Street with Maureen O’Hara and Natalie Wood.
Loving the Christmas movies on Great American Family as well as on Hallmark!
Jean, I really just love them all, too. There are so many good ones to watch!
I love watching all the Christmas movies, especially the romcom ones!
There you go, Carrie! A VERY nice change! I always loved Love, Actually–that one was so unusual, but I guess it could be classified as “sort ot” a romcom movie, since there were so many vignettes going on.
Yay! Christmas movies are on for a good while!
HAHAA! YES, TRACY! That’s great! What’s your favorite? One of mine is It’s a Wonderful Life. My daughter and I used to watch that every year, but it really got to where it bothered her when the pharmacist was slapping George around as a young boy. And though everything works out in the end, it does have some pretty sad moments for a Christmas movie. Still, such a classic!
One of my favorite too Cheryl! I know it’s silly, but I love the original Grinch Who Stole Christmas!
Oh yes, that was a good one! How could I forget the Grinch!
I’m so happy there’s nothing but Christmas movies on TV.
Way to go, Denise! But ya know, I’d get a little upset if they took off my Rawhide and Perry Mason re-runs. LOL
We can enjoy holiday movies all month, both new and old.
Yes, ma’am! There are such a HUGE number of Christmas movies now, and more coming all the time, it’s hard to ever get bored–there are so many different scenarios!
There is nothing but Christmas movies on TV, what a great way to spend a rainy day, cuddling under blankets,
Exactly! With a cup (or two or three) of hot chocolate!
Yes! Now that is close to a perfect day for me!
YES! Just being happy and getting lost in those stories that always have a happy ending!
My favorite time of year is when there is nothing but Christmas movies on the television.
Ha! YES! But like I said, I DO need my shot of Perry Mason and Rawhide re-runs from time to time! LOL
This is my favorite time of the year when there is nothing on TV but Christmas movies on.
You know what I kind of enjoy, are the series we watch regularly having their Christmas shows on. We have watched NCIS from the first episode, I think, and now we are kind of hooked on FBI and FBI MOST WANTED. I wonder if they’ll have Christmas shows this year?
I Love watching all the Christmas movies this time of year!
SO many good ones to choose from, anymore! You know, there’s such a huge argument about whether DIE HARD is a Christmas movie or not. When you think about it, that was pure genius, because it was a Christmas movie that the guys could get into, too!
I am so thankful that Grandma is still able to make her special eggnog this year.
But is she watching Christmas movies while she’s making it, Barbara? LOL
December’s Christmas movies bring joy and bright spirit to the Advent Season.
They sure do, Kathy! I remember how joyful I was when Christmas music could first be heard at the grocery store, back in the day when Mom used to take me shopping with her. I KNEW it was on the way! LOL
This time of year is perfect for cuddling on the couch with a cup of hot chocolate while watching the endless supply of Christmas moves!
Yes, for sure! With a roaring fire! LOL
Christmas movies always show the best side of people and the holidays, and we can always learn something from them, plus, it’s good to cuddle together and watch them!
I really envy everyone who has commented about cuddling with their sweetheart and watching these movies. My husband would never watch one of these–so if I watch them, it has to be alone or with my daughter, and with her in college, I hardly see her right now! LOL
Super! There’s nothing but Christmas movies on television! I’m recording them so I don’t miss any!
YES, Connie! LOL Like my husband records all the football games so he won’t miss any of those. I don’t think we’d have enough room to record those and the Christmas movies, too.
I especially love this time of the year when there are so many Christmas movies to choose from, I will admit it though, sometimes its hard to choose which one to watch next, but I figure it out and watch the next one after.
Very smart, Alicia! And remember to record! LOL
There’s something special about all the Christmas movies that are on television. You can bet that they all have a happy ending!
Isn’t that wonderful, Rhonda? I love those happy endings! LOL I know all of us do!
I just love when it’s time for all the Christmas movies it’s only one time of the year.
Yes, wouldn’t it be nice if we had another time in July where they ran Christmas movies? That might offer us some relief from the heat! All that snow! LOL
There’s nothing but Christmas movies on tv, hooray! Have to admit some are rather dumb but some are really good and have a positive message.
Yes, Alice, and they all have a very happy ending. That’s the best part. Even the dumb ones.
There’s nothing but Christmas movies on TV, but that’s okay, I love to read while watching!! And, it makes for great background noise while I’m doing other things!
Yes, I agree. I love to have background noise sometimes when I’m doing other stuff, too. But when I’m writing, I can’t use music or anything like that. I used to be a musician and I get easily distracted when there is music playing! LOL
We don’t have to constantly scan the channels this time of year for something good on TV, there are always Christmas movies on 24/7!
Isn’t that wonderful? YES! There are so many times I WISH there was “something good on tv” but there just isn’t. But this time of year, there are all kinds of good things.
Christmas movies bring back memories of old.
Charlene, they sure do. Gosh, when I was a kid, I remember watching Frosy the Snowman, and Rudolph the Red -Nosed Reindeer religiously, every single year! When I got older it was the old classics, Holiday Inn, It’s a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th Street, and so on.
There’s nothing but Christmas movies on TV, but even better for kids
Yep, because there are so many specials on for them! Those were so exciting when we were little!
I’m so excited there is nothing but happiness on Tv! Yay Christmas movies on TV!
Isn’t that the truth? Any troubles on those movies seem more minor, and we know they are going to be resolved by the end of the show. LOL
I love watching all the Christmas on TV and look forward to them helping put me in the Christmas spirit each year.
They really do, don’t they, Janice! They are so uplifting, and just make us feel better!
Yay! I can’t wait for all the Christmas movies on TV!
A feeling that a lot of us have, Elizabeth. Wouldn’t it be fun to have a big get-together and everyone sit down and watch these movies together? I think that would be awesome!
I am glad so many stations are showing Christmas movies. They bring back a lot of memories.
They really do, LInda, but also, there are so many newer ones that weren’t even made when we were little so there’s a huge wealth of movies and specials to watch that we didn’t have back in the day!
oh but I love to see all the romantic comedies and fun for Christmas on t.v..
Yes, for sure, Lori! That sure gives you the Christmas spirit!
my husband is now in the same mode as I am with these t.v. shows. LOL Some things really change when retirement comes
HA! That’s funny! Gary is retired, too, but I don’t think he’ll ever “come over” to the Christmas movie side. LOL But that’s okay. I don’t like football. (I know–sacreligious having been born and raised in Oklahoma!) LOL
I am so glad that there is so many holiday movies on this time of year. It puts me in the spirit of Christmas. Thank you so much. God bless you.
Thanks for stopping by, Debra! You are so right about those movies putting us in the Christmas spirit!
I can’t wait for the Christmas movies to get started again as it just makes me love Christmas all over again.
Judy, you are sooooo right! Once they start you just never want them to stop, right?
Howdy Cheryl,
Well, I guess I’m the odd one out. We don’t have a TV and so I don’t watch these kinds of movies. However, we have many DVD’s and i enjoy these very much, although I favor the old 30’s and 40’s movies. I call it the “innocent” age, although the more I know about that age, it wasn’t quite so innocent. However, the movies made at that time were innocent and I still love them today.
Kay, I love those old movies best, too. I’ve seen so many of them so many times, but I still love them! I don’t like watching movies and shows by myself, but I will if there’s no one else around who is interested and it’s something I really really want to see. My husband is generally not a “movie” person at all, and when he is, it’s gotta be some kind of action type movie. That’s why Die Hard was so perfect–an action movie at Christmas! LOL
It is good to see that so many of the Christmas movies have a positive (if not necessarily Christian) message and that so many will be able to watch them!
Yes, for sure–they are all positive, and usually show a resolution of some type of problem so that everyone can have a very happy ending. And that makes ME happy! LOL
I am really enjoying all the Christmas movies.
Bonnie, I am too–and the great thing is we live in the day and age where we can just watch them whenever we want (if we want to record them or get them on DVD, if anyone still uses those–I DO!) I love being able to just see them whenever we want.
I’m loving all the Christmas movies on TV.
Thanks for the chance to win a prize. I read Book 3 in the series and liked it so much that I’m planning to read the others.
Vickie, I’m so glad you enjoyed Book 3 so much! I think every one of these stories is fabulous, and all are entertaining with different characters and stories but with the stocking theme running through them. You are so welcome for the chance to win–we are so glad to have you and everyone else here!
The Christmas movies remind us of what this season is all about being kind to others.
Sharon, so TRUE. That message of love and kindness needs to be felt and seen year-round, doesn’t it?
I love when all the Christmas movies come on tv and remind us of family and friends.
Susan, I do, too. I have so many great memories of Christmas when I was growing up. I’m sure most of us do. Those movies give us such a warm, fuzzy feeling, don’t they?
There’s nothing but Christmas movies on TV, isn’t that wonderful!?
It is! And most of them are just fabulous!
I really look forward to watching all these Christmas movies.
Quilt Lady, I do, too. I have some favorites, but I love seeing the ones I’ve never seen before, too!
With everyone rushing about trying to get that perfect gift, a fella could get killed out there, but the food is to die for.
LOL YES! It is wonderful at this time of year. I don’t cook as much as I used to, but I still do make a few traditional things I’ve always made. And I can’t rush around–I have to just order most of it from Amazon.
There’s nothing but Christmas movies on, however thankfully I have a hunky guy on my lock screen wishing me Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas and I can touch him for as long as I like…
LOLLOL! PERFECT, CRYSTAL! I love it! You made me sit here and just laugh out loud when I read that! I need to do that–I gotta go look for a hunky guy to put up! LOL
The is nothing but Christmas movies on TV, but I really like Christmas movies!
And that’s the perfect scenario, isn’t it, Bridgette? I love them, too. There are some things youjust can’t get enough of!
There’s a great variety of Christmas movies on, so there has to be one I’ll like (and haven’t already seen).
Yes, Jen, that is so true. As I mentioned before, when I was growing up, there were a few old standards that everyone watched each year, but NOW, there are so many, with more coming out every year, that we just have a wonderful array of movies to choose from.
This is a wonderful story! We don’t have cable so miss out on all the Christmas movies
Teresa, thank you so much. Thank you for the very nice review, too! I appreciate that.
We DO have cable, but I don’t like watching movies alone, and so I have to be in just the right frame of mind to watch something by myself, which is every Christmas movie ever made, I think. :((( When my kids lived at home, we watched a LOT of movies together, but Gary has never been a movie person and I’m not sure I could get him to sit through a Christmas movie. I’m so glad you stopped by today!
I’m really enjoying those Christmas movies.
ME TOO! This is the best time of year!
Time for Christmas movies, I love them. My favorite is Miracle on 34th Street, the original.
Oh Sarah, that’s my favorite, too! I truly just love Maureen O’Hara in everything, and I marvel at what a great little actress Natalie Wood was at such a young age!
There’s nothing but Christmas movies on TV, so I’ll go read a good book instead (LOL)!
Trixi, sometimes I feel that same way. For me, 9 times out of 10, the book is better than the movie. Lol!?
Time to make Christmas cookies to go with my Christmas movies.
Abbie, a great idea! And hot chocolate, too!
Hot dog! I can watch all my old favorite Christmas movies and some new ones without having to special ordering them or hunt them down!
Yes, that’s the very best part of living in this day and age, isn’t it? ?
There’s nothing but Christmas movies on tv!
Watching these movies are a great way to get ready for the Christmas season! ???????
The question marks are emojis that didn’t show up…I wasn’t expecting that.
I agree about these movies getting us in the Christmas spirit! So true!
Yeah… WordPress is a barrel of laughs sometimes. lol! ?
Look at all the Christmas movies on TV, new and classics to share as a family or to just get in the holiday spirit!!!!
Yes, and such a wonderful variety! My parents would be amazed to see how technology has changed, and the amenities it gives us these days!
Hooray! Time to binge on Christmas movies!!!
Elissa, I couldn’t have said it better myself! Bring on the popcorn!?
I definitely absolutely love watching Christmas movies since pretty much i watch them through out the whole year. I watch 3 to 4 a day on hallmark, Netflix and YouTube I’m cuddle up with a warm blanket with my futbabies on the couch with tea or hot chocolate.
Sandy, that sounds wonderful! I might just take over the Florida room once we get the tree up and all the decorations in place and commandeer the tv out there to watch Christmas movies in my CHRISTMAS surrounding! LOL
Of course I expected a bit of danger and excitement in your story. It sounds like I won’t be disappointed.
There’s nothing but Christmas movies on TV, and I am enjoying every one.
Patricia, I promise you, you will not be disappointed! I think you will love my story and all the others, too–this is a really nice collection of stories!
You made me laugh about nothing but Christmas movies on and you’re enjoying every one. That is my dream–to have just ONE DAY where I can sit on the couch in front of the fire and watch Christmas movies all day long! So glad you stopped by!
Christmas movies bring a smile to my face!
Colleen, mine too! They always put me in a good mood.
ohhhh how fun, lets see if we can find some new and happy christmas movies on tv this year.
There are always one or two out there–especially now that so many things go straight to cable/streaming! MANY choices!
There’s nothing but Christmas movies on tv. Isn’t it great?!
It’s fabulous! Time to put our cares away for a while and just be happy!
I could watch Christmas movies all year long
Amy, there are times I think I could do that, too! LOL
Yay! It’s time for Christmas movies and I can’t wait!!
YIPPEE!!!! Wouldn’t it be fun to have a big party of just a bunch of friends sitting around together watching these Christmas movies? I would love to do that!
