Linda Broday
I live in the Texas Panhandle where we love our cowboys. There's just something about a man in a Stetson that makes my heart beat faster. I'm not much of a cook but I love to do genealogy and I'm a bit of a rock hound. I'm also a NY Times & USA Today bestselling author of historical western romance. You can contact me through my website and I'd love to connect with you on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and more. HAPPY READING!

  1. Wow! Wonderful Q&A. I didn’t know a lot of your backstory. You are a survivor. Rock on!

    1. Hi Denise, I haven’t opened up before like this. I tend to be very private but am trying to do more of showing the real me. I do like to think of myself as a survivor. At least I’m still here and still standing and that’s something to celebrate. Have a great rest of your weekend and week. Hugs!

  2. Avatar

I enjoyed your interview and I was intrigued by your research into tattoos being used to show ownership and the removal of these tattoos when freedom was obtained. Congratulations for the release of your new book!

    1. Hi Connie, I’m happy you liked my interview. The tattoo research was very interesting and that they could remove them so far back in time. Tally Shannon doesn’t want anyone to “own” her so she jumps at the chance when the doctor says it’s possible. Good luck in winning a copy of the book! I’m also giving away three more plus an Amazon gift card for book tours starting Feb. 5th to the 12th so please enter that one also. Have a blessed week!

  3. Linda- your interview was grand. You are such an amazing lady. Happy early release day.
    Love you sweet sister friend.

    1. Thank you so much, Tonya! I don’t feel very amazing. Mostly tired. 🙂 Love you too, sister friend.

  4. Great interview! I cant wait to read this new book. Congratulations

    1. Hi Yvonne, I hope you enjoy the book and I’m glad you liked the interview. You learned more than you wanted to know about me. Ha! 🙂

  5. The saying “Only The Strong Survive” is so true. God Bless Linda. You’re a fighter. I enjoyed reading the interview. I can’t wait to read The Outlaw’s Mail Order Bride.

    1. Hi Carol, thank you for those sweet words. I don’t feel like I did anything special. Just living life and taking whatever God gives me and making the best of it. I hope you find the book exciting.

  6. Thank you for letting us know who and what you go thru. Love all your books. You’re a real fighter.

    1. Hi Christi, it takes a lot for me to open up. I’ve been so private but I bit the bullet on this interview and let some things out. Have a great week.

  7. What an awesome, awesome interview. Your readers will be fascinated–I certainly was, and I already knew alot about you.

Like Denise said, you’re a survivor, you’re a hard worker, and you appreciate all you’ve accomplished and how you got there. I can’t wait to get your book!!

    Bravo, my sister filly!

    1. Hi Pam, thank you for the kind words. I’m glad you enjoyed reading about me. I don’t like to talk about my myself much. There are far more interesting subjects. 🙂 Love you dearly!

  8. What a grand interview and what a grand lady you are! Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent.

    1. Hi Melanie, I’m happy that you enjoyed the interview. Now you know probably more than you care to. Ha! Sharing my stories is what brings my biggest joy. It wouldn’t do me much good to keep them to myself. I hope you like my newest. Good luck winning a copy!

  9. Interesting and enjoyable interview. Your research and hard work give us wonderful books to read.

  10. What an incredible interview. Thank you so much for letting us in and I’m in total awe of your survival skills. I love how you radiate love and light to your readers directly as well as through your stories. Gobsmacked.

Your description of what you want for your leading men and women is exactly what draws me to your stories—the people you write and their lives.

I’ve loved and admired you from the start but if possible I’m even more…well…astounded by what life has presented to you and how you have met it. God Bless, dear one. Your sharing helps other like me, too, I feel sure. Thank you, from the heart.
