Looking back at 2015

Hi everyone – Winnie Griggs here.  As 2015 draws to a close I wanted to take a quick look back at the year and take a moment to reflect on the many great things, big and small, that took place.

On The writing front, I had two new books and a novella published.

I also attended three great writers conferences and four fabulous reader events. The most fun things about these events are the opportunities I had to connect with old friends and make new ones.

Lots of great things happened on the personal front as well.

My youngest daughter got married.

We took a family vacation to Hawaii

And a mother-daughter trip to New York

And of course there were all the fun family gatherings – I am convinced I have the best family in the whole wide world – extended family members included!!

Now I’m looking forward to 2016 and hoping for another great memory-making time.

Wishing all of you a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

  2. It looks like you had a wonderful year. A mother-daughter trip sods like a great idea. If we could ever coordinate out schedules, we will have to try it. I hope your 2016 is as rewarding and enjoyable.

    • The mother-daughter trip was absolutely one of the highlights of my year – we had a great time together. Wishing you lots of luck in scheduling your own during 2016!1
