I’m not big into shopping after Christmas. I’d much rather stay home with my family, having days filled with pajamas, board games, puzzles, and cross-stitch. But . . . if the sale comes to me through an online ad, and I can take advantage of it while my hair is a mess and I’m still in PJs? Well, those are hard to resist.
Two of my books are on sale today, so I thought I would bring the special to you. No shower required. Ha!
Both A Tailor-Made Bride (my first published novel) and Stealing the Preacher (the story of a preacher and an outlaw’s daughter) are on sale today for only $1.99. This price is valid for all e-book types (Kindle, Nook, etc.) If you click on the covers below, the link will take you to the Amazon version.
And what’s shopping without a little Christmas music playing in the background? I thought I’d include one of my favorite groups singing Angels We Have Heard on High in a small 19th century church, similar to the one I imagined Crockett Archer preaching in. Hope you enjoy.
May you and your family have a blessed Christmas season.

If I didn’t already have the books, I would get them. 🙂 Thanks for sharing the song, too!
Thanks, Faith. I love A Capella groups, and Christmas time seems to include some of my favorite. Hope you have a wonderful New Year!
The only after Christmas sale I wanted was for cards for next year. I got them at the drug store last night and that’s enough for me.
I do the same, Janine, except with wrapping paper. I always hit the 50%-75% off sales for wrapping paper after Christmas then save it for next year.
Happy New Year!
Beautiful song, Karen. I enjoyed it. Happy New Year!
Thanks, Charlene. Glad you enjoyed the harmonies. 🙂
Have a wonderful New Year!
just traveled 1200 miles on the 26th to come have a late Christmas with my grown kids and grandkids,,so no shopping for me either,,i get the best deals in late Jan and feb.I shop all year long,,I have 5 kids and 13 grandkids so I have to spread it out
Wow, Vickie! Hope you got to fly. That would make a loooong drive. So smart to spread the shopping out like that. Hope you have a lovely visit with your grandkids. 🙂
I already have both books in hard cover. I very much enjoyed A TAILOR MADE BRIDE and look forward to reading STEALING THE PREACHER. You have been very fortunate with your cover design team. They are always lovely and perfect for the story. The cover for A TAILOR MADE BRIDE says much about the story. It is a synopsis in a single picture.
Long days lazing around reading and playing board games while eating cookies, popcorn, and washing it down with hot cocoa is the ideal way to spend this time of the year.
I hope you are having a wonderful Christmas holiday and a wish you a fantastic New Year.
Thanks, Patricia. I agree that I’ve been blessed with great covers. It really does make a difference.
We’ve played at least five board games this week. Everyone gets a day to choose what game they want to play. We even got a couple new ones at Christmas, so we got to try out some new ones. Always fun!
