melindaelmoreTalented author Melinda Elmore has graciously agreed to fill in for me tomorrow. Bless  her! I’m so grateful for the reprieve. I’m madly rushing to get my story done and ready to send to Kensington by August 1st.

    I am very interested in Native American legends. I have several people every year come to our library asking me to help them research various legends. Look forward to the post.

    Welcome, Melinda. I also am very intereted in Native American culture from my days teaching American Literature. Dee Brown’s “Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee” is one of the books that changed my life.
