AND Cover reveal for new series coming in October

Aiming for Love

Josephine Nordegren is one of three sisters who grew up nearly wild in southwestern Colorado. She has the archery skills of Robin Hood and the curiosity of the Little Mermaid, fascinated by but locked away from the forbidden outside world–a world she’s been raised to believe killed her parents. When David Warden, a rancher, brings in a herd much too close to the girls’ secret home, her older sister especially is frightened, but Jo is too interested to stay away.

David’s parents follow soon on his heels, escaping bandits at their ranch. David’s father is wounded and needs shelter. Josephine and her sisters have the only cabin on the mountain. Do they risk stepping into the world to help those in need? Or do they remain separated but safe in the peaks of Hope Mountain?

    • I love your books, Mary. Your new series sounds interesting. I play Words with Friends. If you or anyone reading this wants to start a game I am on there as Tsadel. I have started playing a multi player game called “Word Hero.” It is a “Boggle” type game and you play simultaneously with people from around the world. Games are short and they have “leaderboards” to show how you ranked against the other online players. New games start every few minutes and you can play as much or as little as you like.

    • I enjoy reading your books. Cannnot wait to read these.
I am more of a board game person. We play lots of board games.

  8. I don’t play online games. I love games but I prefer games with other people! We play board games all the time! I love the cover of your new book and would love to read it!

  9. Mary, this was so much fun. My time was 6:44. Probably a little slower than you. I love to play online jigsaw puzzles but I limit myself to doing it at night when I want to relax. Other than jigsaws I only play Spider Solitaire. I’m sort of addicted to that.

Congratulations on your beautiful new cover! That’s really pretty and I love that she’s an archer. I hope she shoots an apple off his head. HaHa!

  10. Once in a while I will do a puzzle… but if I really want to play a game, I pull out my Nintendo DS… love Bookworm and Bejeweled

    • Mary, I don’t play online games so I’m no help to you on procrastinating…lol! I do the occasional jigsaw & crossword puzzle that comes in the newspaper. When our kids were little, we played board games.

I’ve read the first two books in this series and definitely want to read Unexpected Champion! Thank you for the giveaway.

  11. Thanks for the puzzle. That was really neat! I love your new upcoming cover! I don’t play online games.

  12. I love those puzzles! We do puzzles as a family and play board games. The kids love learning new ones. As for myself if I need a brain break then I do word searches or doodle.

  13. Beautiful cover. Can’t wait for the book to come out. Sounds great. Now off to puzzle over the puzzle!

  14. I play some games that some you can play online or with the wifi off. Majong, Wordscapes, clue words, 7 little words, red herring. Some are simple, others make you use your brain.
I read the first book in this series and would love to read the other two.

  15. I play Hidden City, it’s a find the hidden objects game plus they have other challenges. I enjoyed the puzzle but it took me just over 10 minutes to do it. I’m not so good with online puzles.

  16. No online games for me. Reading is my way to relax.
Hope you are not in the flooded area of Nebraska.

  17. I love doing puzzles but have to discipline myself with them. I am known to sit all day long and get NOTHING else accomplished if I have a puzzle on the table! I love your books, Mary, and would love to win this one! Thanks for the give away!!

  18. Love all your books Mary.
I don’t play too many games online (too busy reading!) but I do like Freecell solitaire.

  19. I am guilty of playing online games–candy crush soda saga and also word games (at least those actually challenge my mind!) Sometimes I just don’t want to expend any energy and that’s what I do for a brain break. 🙂

  20. I don’t usually play online games but I have played Words With Friends. I usually read or knit.

  21. The puzzle was fun! (it took me over 11 minutes….ha!) I don’t play many online games because I’m usually reading! Love your books!

  22. Games I play online are Solitaire, Wheel of Fortune, Cell Connect, Make Hexa, and Bible Word. My newest are Wheel of Fortune and Bible Word.

  23. The puzzle was fun. I play games occasionally, usually on a site like this. I don’t play many, Not enough time. If I am going to play solitaire, I prefer to use real cards.
I like the sound of your new series. Considering how sparsely the West was populated (except by Native Americans) it is not at all a stretch to think something like the story you outlined could happen.

  24. I play Words With Friends on facebook, and I play Hay Day, Covet Fashion, and Two Dots on my tablet.

  25. Love your books. I think I have read all of them. I play Jewel Crush and Spider Solitaire online.

  26. I spend to much time reading to play online games. I do enjoy an occasional game of solitaire with one of my phone apps.
Love to cover of the book. Can’t wait to read it! Your books are so much fun to read! Thank you!

  27. How much fun! I woke up and couldn’t go back to sleep so I remembered I hadn’t played your game. So it’s 4:30a.m. On the first day of spring (really not until 5pm playing your game. Fun! Love your cover. Big hugs to you and I’m off to bed for 2 1/2 hours. I do play games on my iPad plus do the coloring. Helps to keep my old worn out brain going. Hugs my friend.

  28. I play online backgammon nearly everyday. It’s so addicting. I read many years ago that it was Lucille Ball’s favorite game so I had to learn how to play.
