Prairie Rose Publications is going strong, with some wonderful new reads coming up for you!

Lassoing a Groom and Lassoing a Bride were just released today!

PRPLassoing a Groom Web

How is a woman supposed to catch a husband? In the wild, wild west, she’s got to find a way to Lasso a Groom! Some of them are lawmen…some are outlaws. Ranchers and homesteaders are fair game, as well—none of ’em safe from love’s lariat, or the women who finally manage to rope ’em in!

DON’T GO SNARING MY HEART by Jacquie Rogers  Can rancher Dex Madsen get past loner Betsy Lynch’s goats and killer chicken to help save her mining claim and win her heart?

RACE TO MARRY by Kirsten Lynn   He’s in town to tame a man-killer. She’s accused of being one. When she proposes marriage the race is on.

WANTED: THE SHERIFF by Tracy Garrett  He’s a confirmed bachelor…but she’ll capture his heart.

CANYON CROSSING by Kristy McCaffrey  In search of her brother, Annabel Cross enters Grand Canyon. When U.S. Deputy Marshal Angus Docherty rescues her from a cliff side, her most guarded secret might save them.

THE PERFECT HOMESTEAD BRIDE by Linda Hubalek   Will a dangerous man from Gussie Hamner’s past sabotage the future she’s building with Noah Wilerson?

THE WORST OUTLAW IN THE WEST by Kathleen Rice Adams  An inept bank robber and a bossy spinster team up to rob an empty vault. What could go wrong?

PRPLassoing a Bride Web

Some brides are hard to get a rope on, for sure! But in these wild west romance tales, being married is like sugar and lots of spice—with a dash of pepper in the mix! Ain’t nothin’ tame about these brides, who have a delicious story of their own—each falling under the spell of a handsome devil she thought was out of her reach. Unanswered prayers, broken dreams and unexpected circumstances are sometimes the best way for a groom to get the gal he loves when he’s looking at Lassoing a Bride!

PRETTIEST LITTLE HORSE THIEF by Gail L. Jenner  Sometimes it’s the stolen and unexpected love that has the power to heal a broken heart

UNEXPECTED BLESSINGS by Sarah J. McNeal  A broken dream…a cancelled wedding…and an unexpected blessing.

NO LESS THAN FOREVER by Tracy Garrett  Love always finds a way…

THE BANK ROBBER’S LAMENT by Sara Barnard  Smith found equal amounts of both anonymity and trouble in Gabriel’s Settlement. But when he sets eyes on a beautiful woman and her young daughter who are being abused, might some other emotion be fated to bloom in that desert town of far west Texas?

THE BRIDE AND THE BADGE by Livia J. Washburn   Was Emily just bait for an outlaw trap—or did she mean more than that to the handsome Texas Ranger?

I will be giving away one e-copy of LASSOING A GROOM and LASSOING A BRIDE! Be sure to leave your contact info in your comment so I can reach you if your name is drawn for one of these books! 1. Those all sound like very intriguing stories. 🙂 Thanks for sharing them! My email address is faith[dot]blum[dot]author[at]gmail[dot]com

  2. Congratulations on all the new books! Wow! Prairie Rose is really cranking ’em out. You’ve got a great lineup of authors. Wishing you tons of success.

    Hope you’re feeling better.

  3. Faith, I promise, there’s not a bad one in the bunch. These collections have some excellent entertaining reading in them! I’ve got your name in the hat! Thanks for coming by.

  4. Hey Linda!

Thanks a million, and I’m hoping that maybe the next time around you’ll be able to find some time in your busy schedule to send a story in–maybe for the Christmas antho?

Always love your stories, and these anthologies are so fun.

Yes, I’m somewhat better today with these darn allergies. Stress test this afternoon…I’ll be glad to get that overwith. LOL

  5. Hi Melanie!

Livia Washburn Reasoner did all these covers. She has such a talent for covers and really enjoys doing them so much–you can always tell by the finished product. She’s the best business partner anyone could ask for.

So glad you stopped by! I can’t wait for each and every one of these wonderful anthologies to make their way into the world. Release dates for Cowboy Cravings and Lassoing a Mail Order Bride will be in early June.

  6. Livia does create gorgeous covers, doesn’t she? That woman has so many hidden talents, I’m always a little afraid to ask what she’s up to next! 😀 (I keep thinking we’ll find a hawt Texas Ranger on a cover one of these days, what with this “thing” she has for our state lawmen lately. 😉 )

I’m so proud of both of these anthologies, I could just burst. The stories get better with each one, and this time around I think the Prairie Roses outdid themselves. There’s something for everyone, whether tastes run to humor or adventure or action or paranormal elements or … well, whatever, as long as it ends in a happily-ever-after. 🙂

  7. I love all the titles in Lassoing A Groom. I wish I had had the time to get a story in there just so I could read the whole thing before it was released. Guess I’m gonna need to make a purchase. LOL
The stories in Lassoing A Bride were top notch. I read them in the galley and thought I was mighty lucky to be included with such a talented group.
It’s gonna be a summer of fun reading all of these anthologies, including the ones yet to be released.

  8. Congrats on the new releases! Great titles… they all sound wonderful! Love anthologies!

  9. All of these anthologies just sound wonderful, and I know LASSOING THE GROOM contains some amazing tales. Livia knows how to make any book dazzle with her covers.

I’m just thrilled to be a part of Prairie Rose and get to share in LASSOING THE GROOM!

  10. Oh wow, these books look like really great reads and I would love to read them. Thanks for the great giveaway!

  11. I want all 3 anthologies! I know I’ll enjoy them all. But I have to admit, Jacquie’s blurb stopped me at the killer chicken! Can’t wait to read that one!

  12. Hi Claudia!

We’ve had so many wonderful releases this past year since we opened Prairie Rose Publications. Lots of really fun anthologies, but novels and novellas, too! And it’s probably the very best job in the world for me–I never tire of it.

    Thanks for stopping by!

  13. You’re right Kathleen–those covers just pop–all Livia’s covers are just wonderful! She is one talented lady to be able to write, do cover art, and get the formatting done so these books can be published and make it into our hot little hands. Don’t know what we’re going to do about her and Texas Ranger infatuation, though…I think I smell a story…Wonder Woman and the Ranger…

Thanks so much for all your help, Kathleen–we couldn’t do this without you! I’m so thrilled for all of us, and just loved your story, The Worst Outlaw in the West–you have such a unique voice and I love your style.

  14. Sarah, I just loved Unexpected Blessings. You really had me wondering how in the world that was going to end up with an HEA, but you did it! Loved that story–but I just love me some Wildings. I’m so glad to have your characters all under one roof there at PRP.

Yes, Lassoing a Groom is a good one, too–so you will have to whip out the ol’ pocketbook and buy it! The first week of June, Lassoing a Mail-Order Bride will be out, and then the very yummy spicy Cowboy Cravings. They’re all wonderful anthologies, and just filled with great reading.

So glad you are with us at Prairie Rose Publications!

  15. Kirsten, your story in LASSOING A GROOM was just wonderful! Cal and Josie just walked off the pages they were so real. And I bet I can see some stories coming with that passel of teenagers, too! YEE HAW! LOL

Thanks for stopping by today, dear friend, and congratulations on your fiction writing debut! So glad it was with Prairie Rose Publications!

  16. Thanks, Julie! I’m so glad you stopped by today, and thanks for the plugs on Facebook! I SO appreciate you doing that!

Yes, these are some wonderfully entertaining stories, and there’s truly something for everyone.

I’m putting your name in the hat for the drawing!

  17. AW, Kristy! Thank you for being a part of PRP–we appreciate you so much. And thanks for two wonderfully-written stories in these anthologies! They’re both just excellent.

  18. Hi Quilt Lady!

Lots of really good reads, for sure. I promise you will enjoy each and every one of these stories. Do you want to post your contact info in case your name is drawn? Thanks for stopping by today!

  19. Alisa, they’re all wonderful, I promise. I love Jacquie’s killer chicken too. LOL But Linda Hubalek has a pet mountain lion in hers who answers to “kitty kitty”. And there are lots more surprises in every story. You’ll enjoy them all.

Lassoing a Mail-Order Bride will be out the first week of June, and Cowboy Cravings, which is a wee bit “hotter” will be out on June 12.

AND we’re planning a big ol’ Facebook bash once these are all out–probably the 3rd or 4th week of June. So stay tuned!

  20. Hi Susan!

We are just thrilled with the lineup at PRP and our other imprints, Tornado Alley Publications, Fire Star Press, and Painted Pony Books! Lots of good reading to choose from.

  21. What wonderful releases to look forward to! I wish you all much success. Thank you for the great giveaway opportunity.

  22. Britney, thanks for stopping by today! I’ve got your name in the drawing and will be dipping into my big ol’ Stetson here in a few minutes to see who my winners are!

  23. I am so glad you are putting out so many anthologies. They are favorites of mine. When days get crazy, which is often, I prefer to read novellas instead of trying to keep up with the plot and characters in a long book. I like the sound of the stories in both books.
Best wishes for a successful release of the both.

  24. Hi Patricia! We are LOVING these anthologies. Especially the fact that it gives so many authors a chance to showcase their talents. And writing a short story is NOT easy to do! I’m so proud of our authors and the way they tell such interesting stories in such a short word count. You will enjoy these, and our own Tracy Garrett has stories that go hand-in-hand with one another in both of these books. They are just excellent!

  25. Cheryl,

Late to the post, but two releases, whoopee! I am happy for everyone who has a story in these anthologies and so happy for PRP. Doris

  26. Doris, that’s the great thing about the internet–you’re NEVER late. LOL So glad to see you here at P&P…We are thrilled at Prairie Rose, and there’s still more to come! Releases on June 5 (Lassoing a Mail-Order Bride) and on June 12, (Cowboy Cravings) and the big FB Fandango that will follow. Can’t beat a celebration like that over some wonderful reads!
