Book #2!
JOY TO THE COWBOY is the only story in our series with a guy on the cover, and I love the looks of him. He’s just how I envisioned my cowboy (even though he is a little grumpy at first!) Trust me, you’ll love him in the end as much as I do!
She was sunshine. He was clouds. Until a sprig of mistletoe changed everything.
Griff Marcello must live with the shame of the crime he once committed for his mobster father. As he grows into a man, he’s found security as a cowboy living in Glory Hill, Nebraska, but the memory of his sin never leaves him.
Joyanna Hollinger is devoted to the community of Glory Hill, and with Christmas approaching, her plans for a special Christmas Eve service consumes her. All her efforts are falling into place–until she loses a key part of the celebration.
When Griff receives an unexpected gift from his former piano teacher, he never thinks her kindness will fill him with the spirit of Christmas, even when Joyanna needs him most.
Could the simplicity of a hand-stitched stocking and the Christmas carol tucked within chase away the clouds in his heart and warm him from the sunshine of Joyanna’s love?
Also Available in Audiobook!
Yes, we know. It’s that time of year when we sometimes feel less kind than we should.
Re-write the sentence in red to something less naughty and more nice. For example:
NAUGHTY: “Grandma’s eggnog is too thick and chunky.”
NICE: “Isn’t it wonderful Grandma is still with us to make her eggnog?”
THE ELECTRIC BILL HAS GONE UP.
You might win this musical piano ornament, new this year from Hallmark!
(I love how it looks just like the one on my cover. Even better, it plays “Joy to the World,” the carol I’d already chosen for JOY TO THE COWBOY!)
All entries will be eligible for our oh-so-beautiful Grand Prize, too!
Winners announced Sunday, December 15!
(USA Winners only, please.)

Looks like sweater weather has arrived!
P.S. I hope this isn’t too close to anyone else’s glass half full version (it’s bedtime and I didn’t read what’s already been posted).
Nope! It’s perfect, Mary. Thanks for staying up late to join us!
All my utilities are included in the rent. I only have the tree lights on for a few hours at night.

The twinkling lights on the Christmas tree at night are so enchanting, it’s worth a higher electric bill.
It is worth the pleasure it brings to us and others with all the lights. Who cares if the electric bill is a little higher.
The Christmas lights are so worth the extra price
It is almost Christmas and the price of everything is rising, but the one bill that I know will give me joy paying is the one that provides me with what I need to light up my life and others. When I put that final plug into the electric socket and the lights open up inside my home for me and outside for all passerbys to see the beauty of the bright colorful light of Christmas, it is a warm joy to the entire world. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to All!?
It’s a little Christmas tree, but it’s beautiful!
Hey Pam! Can’t wait to read this series! Merry Christmas!
The series is a good one, Tracy! We just love the premise. Enjoy – and Merry Christmas to you, too, dear lady!
Every single Christmas light brings a moment of joy to us and anyone who sees them. Including the electric company because we’re helping them make more money around Christmas time hahah.
Hahaha! That’s a good perspective, Cori. I’m sure the electricians will appreciate you for that!
My electric bill is worth it when I see the beautiful Christmas lights.
I really enjoy Christmas lights. Mine and others.

The electric bill has gone up but I’m grateful we do have electricity!
The electric bill has gone up, but at least we still have electricity, so we can do everything we need to do with electricity.
Beautiful and bright. I have great pleasure from the lights and no cost is too high.
Our electric bill doubles in December, but aren’t all of the lights beautiful? Maybe we should copy that house we drove by while looking at lights, the one that had a sign in their yard “To: the electric company” 🙂
🙂 🙂 🙂 That’s funny! I love their sense of humor!
With the amount of lights we put on our Christmas tree, we have no need to turn on the heater! We’ll save money where we can!

I’m glad we have the privilege of electricity instead of using candles or kerosene lamps all the time. 🙂
I’m so glad that I can heat my house, cook my food, and have light by just flipping a switch. So many people in the world don’t have that privilege.
The lights light up my heart and are what I need this in this season of beauty. I don’t dwell on the other factors.

I have Beautiful memories of when I was growing up, our mom would leave the Christmas tree lights on all since the morning on Christmas Eve till all night on Christmas Day, I have been doing the same since I left home to start my own little family. Thank you, it was always so nice and special waking up Christmas morning and seeing the ornaments with the reflection of the Christmas ights on them guiding our eyes to see what was under the tree for us, we were 6 siblings growing up.
I’ll bet, Alicia. No doubt it was a very fond memory for your mom, too.
It’s nice to see the house all covered in Christmas lights, even if it causes the electricity bill to go up.
The electric bill has gone up, but the neighborhood can enjoy the lights
The electric bill is not due until next month. So relax and enjoy the light.
I don’t mind the electric bill going up, since I can enjoy the lights on the tree, a warm house, food in the refrigerator! There are others so much less fortunate than me! (Thanks for helping me keep my perspective this morning, since I’m facing some unexpected expenses!!!)

Too many people lost their homes in fires and floods—no matter how much it costs, these lights are for them.

We’re going to snuggle under blankets by the fire all winter
Love those timers, solar lights and battery operated decorations!
At least we are staying warm.
Although the electric bill has gone up, gas prices have come down. I guess it is a bit of a balancing act.

We need more blankets the electric bill is to high
I love the twinkling lights on the tree so a few extra dollars won’t hurt if we don’t leave the tree on very long .
Yes the electric bill is up but if the little bit of extra means the Christmas lights bring joy to someone, it is worth it.
