Friday, November 15, 2024 will find historical author Kaitlene Dee visiting with us. She’s going to talk about line shacks. You know, those isolated cabins on the prairie where cowboys stayed? They usually rode fence and kept an eye on the cattle in their section.
Line shacks were so necessary on those big ranches with a lot of land. But, you probably already know this. However, be thinking about those.
Miss Kaitlene is talking about her new book, Emma, and is giving away a Thanksgiving platter.
So be sure to leave a comment on her blog Friday.
It’ll be lots of fun so don’t miss it.
When I'm not keepin' all these Fillies in line, I'm practicing my roping so I can catch me a cowboy. Me and Jasper (my mule) are two peas in a pod. Both of us are as crotchety as all get-out.
I’m looking forward to her visit.
I am looking forward to her visit. I don’t think I’ve read any of her books.
Good morning , I am looking forward to this visit.
My favorite Thanksgiving dish is a friend’s squash casserole, but I am the designated turkey and gravy person. I guess I should be happy that everyone loves my turkey and gravy so much.
Thanks for offering Emma for free, but I already purchased it ?
