I have often wondered why women don’t get more credit for settling frontiers and not just in the US. They must do all the things they did under regular life, but under difficult circumstances. In addition, they must help build their house and break virgin land for a garden and farming. They were often the only ones available for medical care. I am definitely interested in this post.
