When I'm not keepin' all these Fillies in line, I'm practicing my roping so I can catch me a cowboy. Me and Jasper (my mule) are two peas in a pod. Both of us are as crotchety as all get-out.
This will be interesting. I enjoy visiting old forts and we have explored quite a few over the years.
I think visiting old forts is fascinating. Just imagining the day to day life and what they may have felt and thought. I have visited the fort on Mackinac Island and the Alamo.
I have visited Fort Ridgely and been through the cemetery at Fort Snelling here in Minnesota but it was many years ago. I’m thinking I need to take my kids on a field trip before winter! I would love to visit more forts someday.
book sounds like a great read. I love historical places like this. You can always revisit what you have learned and learn more things.
Have I ever visited a fort? Yes a long time ago I visited an Amish Fort. It was very interesting.
