Publisher’s Weekly has reviewed the upcoming December release of the first book in my Amish of Hope’s Haven series and they like it! Check out what they had to say HERE

HER AMISH WEDDING QUILT

An Amish seamstress and a single father have a chance to make a fresh start in this heartwarming first novel of a new series.

Spirited, forthright, impulsive — everyone told Greta Eicher she’d have to change her ways if she ever hoped to marry. Then her best friend Calvin, the man she thought she would wed, chooses another woman. Now Greta’s wondering if the others were right all along. Her dreams dashed, she pours her energy into crafting beautiful quilts at her shop and helping widower Noah Stoll care for his adorable young children.

Noah knows it’s time to think about finding a wife. When Greta offers to play matchmaker on his behalf, Noah eagerly accepts. After all, no one knows his children better. But none of the women she suggests seems quite right, because, unexpectedly, his feelings of respect and friendship for Greta have grown into something even deeper and richer. But will he have enough faith to overcome the pain of his past and give love another chance?

I am excited to share two of my books received honors in the Readers’ Favorite 2020 Awards.

Gift of Grace received the gold medal for Christian Romance Historical while Evie took the silver medal in the same category.

Also, I have a new boxed set out, just in time for holiday reading.

The first three books in my Rodeo Romance series are now available all in one book.  Yeehaw!

Pam Crooks

I’ve had three back-to-back deadlines this year, which has kept me in my office day after day, week after week, month after month, with ver-ry few days off.

But I’ve finished the last book, turned it in two days early, and I can breathe again.  YEE-HAW!  I’m free!!

After I finish a book, I always thoroughly clean my office. I mean THOROUGHLY!  It’s like I’m shedding the world I was living in for months, sweeping away all the ideas, notes, and research books I used, all in preparation for clearing my mind and office for the next book and the new world waiting for me.

My office is my home within my home.  I pretty much live in my office.  Just ask my husband.

Here it is, freshly dusted, vacuumed and polished.

And these are the books I just finished in that sparkling clean office!

Mark your calendars! Tule Publishing is having a Christmas party with tons of giveaways all day long on October 7th at the Tule Book Club on Facebook. If you are not already a member, it’s easy to join

Also, I have a new release. A Home for the Holidays is a sweet Christmas romance that kicks off my Holly, Idaho series. The next two books are Once Upon a Winter Wedding, and V is for Valentine. I’m very excited for the this series.

Jason Regan is a man on the go. Excluding his high school years in Holly, Idaho, he’s never settled in one place. Building his engineering company requires a lot of travel, so when he returns to Holly to visit his aunt and pay a decade-old parking ticket, he’s not planning to stay for Christmas. The judge’s ruling changes that—he’s assigned community service at an animal shelter requiring his skills.

Former lawyer Tess Evans moved home to pursue her true calling—managing the Forever Home Animal Shelter. The shelter is chronically underfunded and understaffed. So, to raise money and awareness, she organizes a ‘Home for the Holidays’ adoption event at Holly’s Christmas festival. Getting a skilled volunteer at such a critical time is a gift and Tess takes full advantage. Their to-do list is long, and not falling in love is number one.

As their attraction grows, they keep forgetting Jason’s stay in Holly is temporary. Can Tess, a lonely terrier named Neville and some Christmas magic change his mind?

You all know the problem with writing a LONG book? It takes a WHILE to finish it! So I don’t have new release right now to share, but…y’all know I always have DOG PICTURES, right? LOL We are getting ready for fall around here, though I hate to see summer leave. I don’t dress my dogs up for Halloween, because they would hate it. BUT–I DO buy them a holiday collar to get them in the spirit and give them a jaunty look!

Here’s Sammy in his Halloween “candy corn” collar, looking very dignified!
Max is dapper in his jack o’lantern collar–makes him feel frisky!
After chasing squirrels in the backyard, it’s time for a rest! That is hard work (but fun!)

We are ready for fall here in Oklahoma City, but though the nights are cool, we still have some good warm days ahead of us. Just the kind of weather these two love! Happy fall, everyone!

Pam Crooks – Three more books for my wish list. I hope you don’t have to start any more books before the Holidays so you can relax and enjoy them. You have definitely put your work in.
Karen Witemeyer – I have Head iIn The Clouds, but loaned it before reading it and haven’t gotten it back yet. The Kissing Tree is in my favorite format. I love anthologies. I look forward to reading it.
Jeannie Watt – I have been looking forward to the Tule Party. Hope I can drop in a good part of the time. I like the cover of A Home For The Holidays and the story will be good as usual. Another Christmas book to put on my wish list.
Cheryl Pierson – I never have dressed our dogs for the holidays. I did buy a costume or 2, but never used them. None of our dogs would have liked it. The only bet we dressed up was a bunny. I like your idea of buying holiday collars. Much more reasonable.
I hope all you Ladies have a wonderful Fall. Stay safe and healthy.

    • I love picking out their collars for the holidays. This summer I got one that was American flag themed, so it was good for a lot of patriotic holidays! LOL
