Big Changes Here at the Junction

First of all, we regret to announce that Sherri Shackleford has saddled up and moved on down the trail. The Fillies hated to see Miss Sherri go. She’s such a talented author of inspirational western romance and a great filly sister. We wish her much happiness in whatever she chooses to do. If you happen to cross paths, wave and say howdy.

Albright_Kathryn_Color_Closeup_For-InternetSecond, we’re excited to welcome Kathryn Albright into our family! Kathryn has been a been a guest many times and is such a joy. Her posts are always entertaining. Miss Kathryn writes some of the best Harlequin Historicals out there. Her newest is The Gunslinger and the Heiress. It brings a smile to look out at Wildflower Junction and see her horse in the corral. Make her feel at home. Her first post as a Filly will be on Monday, March 23rd. Drop by and show her some love. Bring a nice casserole too. The Fillies are always hungry!

When I'm not keepin' all these Fillies in line, I'm practicing my roping so I can catch me a cowboy. Me and Jasper (my mule) are two peas in a pod. Both of us are as crotchety as all get-out.

  1. Hi Kathryn!! Welcome to Wildflower Junction, Filly sister! It’s great to have you in the corral. We have Kathleen Rice Adams guarding the place so no one will ambush you. She’s a tough one. Keeps that Colt at the ready. If you have any questions or anything just shout.

  2. Kathryn, welcome, welcome!! We are so thrilled to have you part of the filly-sisterhood. Our visitors here at Wildflower Junction will be thrilled, too. Here’s to many years of blogging and promoting western romance with you!

  3. Sorry to see Sherri leave.
Welcome, Kathryn. I have enjoyed some of your books and look forward to your posts.

    • Oh, Patricia — I hear you about Sherri. I hate change when it means someone is moving on and I might not see them as much. I hope Sherri will stop by once in a while and keep is up to date on her doings… I just finished reading one of her books because I saw it here on Petticoats and Pistols.

Thanks for the welcome! I look forward to getting to know you!

  4. We are all happy to have you, Kathryn. I know I’ll learn a whole lot from you and look forward to getting to know you better as one of the Fillies. Hugs from Texas, Phyliss

  5. Hi Phyliss — Forgive me if I spell your name wrong once in awhile. I’ll try not to! My sister’s name is Phyllis! So very close to yours, but different. Thanks for the grand welcome!
