For my card, I decided to use a pic I took last year from the end of my driveway. There’s nothing like a white christmas, but if it can’t be white the number one thing that’s a must is very, very simple. I just live for our little family to be snug and together and just hanging out – either with a holiday movie, or carols, a fire in the fireplace and a fuzzy blanket to snuggle up in. Here’s wishing Happy Holidays to all of you from a very cold, fairy-land white Nova Scotia, Canada!

I am so with you! I love the family around me all snuggly and warm. I love evergreens and I especially love them with a blanket of snow. AND if they have Christmas lights and s covering of snow they are extra special and that is what I am seeing out my front window. Merry Christmas.
Beautiful picture, Donna. I love, love, love snow. Can’t get enough of it. The more the better, especially when I’m inside by a nice fire with loved ones all around. Simple is the best! I’m with you on that. Merry Christmas!
Stay warm up there, Donna. Don’t freeze your tushie off. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2013!!
Donna, what a beautiful picture. And, just think that we got a sprinkling of snow yesterday afternoon here in the panhandle of Texas and my grandkids were all running around outside without coats on, they did wear shoes, like the snow was coming down in bucketfuls. We’ve seen it like that, but typically, if we get one or two decent snowfalls a season, we’re over-joyed.
Thanks for sharing; and Merry Christmas, Love, Phyliss
Lovely picture Donna. Here in Louisiana snow is a once every 4 or 5 year occurance, but I’m okay with that 🙂 Wishing you a very joyous Christmas.
Grear picture!
Oh that is beautiful!
Merry Christmas!
Glorious picture, Donna. You are so lucky! I live on the coast where snow at Christmas is just a dream. Merry Christmas to you and yours…it was fantastic meeting you last summer in Anaheim! God bless!
Wow, Donna – what a lovely scene. How gorgeous! I’m all for keeping things simple.
Merry, Merry White Christmas to you!!
Donna, I love to look at snowy pictures, just don’t like it too much in RL. LOL They’re saying we may get a white Christmas, even just a dusting this year–3 years ago we had a freak blizzard on Christmas. The kids were here, thank goodness, and we had plenty of food and so on, so all was well. Hope you have a very Merry Christmas. I love the picture–it looks like a postcard!

Donna, thank you for sharing your lovely photo. If I took a picture from my driveway it would have to be of palm trees.
Merry Christmas!
Oh what a beautiful pic!
There is something to be said for a warm, tropical kind of Christmas. A few years ago we were in Florida in November and I commented to the family that I never thought I’d say it but I could handle being south for the holidays!
Lovely picture, Donna. We loved Nova Scotia when we visited in September, 2001. I miss the snow in TN. We get it (got some Friday) but rarely do we get much. It isn’t any good if you can’t play in it.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and a great 2013.
