Already Over the Edge is receiving praise:

Romantic Times gives it 4 Stars:

Book three of the Kincaid Brides is Seth’s story.

With her trademark laugh-out-loud moments, Connealy breathes new life into an old storyline. The characters are fresh and innovating.

There is romance, mystery, laughter and secrets for readers to discover.

Over the Edge By Mary Connealy

Seth Kincaid hasn’t been right since he escaped a cave fire. The last time his family saw him, he was running off to fight in the Civil War. Now he’s returned home. So too has his bride. Callie has searched for Seth high and low, finally arriving at his family’s ranch. When she discovers he doesn’t even remember her, she’s ready to kill him. Yet, Seth knows that Callie may be the only one who can truly help him heal.

VERDICT With trademark humor, Connealy (In Too Deep; Out of Control) weaves a delightful tale that is sure to please her fans and win her new readers. Recommend it to those who enjoy the fiction of Mona Gansberg Hodgson.

More about Over the Edge:

Seth Kincaid remembers almost everything… except getting married! Seth Kincaid survived a fire in a cave, but he’s never been the same. He was always a reckless youth, but now he’s gone over the edge. He ran off to the Civil War and came back crazier than ever. After the war, nearly dead from his injuries, it appears Seth got married. Oh, he’s got a lot of excuses, but his wife isn’t happy to find out Seth doesn’t remember her. Callie has searched, prayed, and worried. Now she’s come to the Kincaid family’s ranch in Colorado to find her lost husband.

Callie isn’t a long-suffering woman. Once she knows her husband is alive, she wants to kill him. She’s not even close to forgiving him for abandoning her.

Then more trouble shows up in the form of a secret Seth’s pa kept for years. The Kincaid brothers might lose their ranch if they can’t sort things out. It’s enough to drive a man insane–but somehow it’s all making Seth see things more clearly. And now that he knows what he wants, no one better stand in his way.

  1. I know this is going to be another super book, Mary! I’m a sucker for a wounded hero, so I can’t wait to meet Seth again. Loved his twist in Out of Control. Looks like you are going to be seriously busy next week. Have fun with it! 🙂

  2. Your book sounds fabulous, Mary. Your humorous touch is a true gift. And your promotion schedule–wow! Looks like you’re doing everything right. Hope this one soars–it should.

  3. Mary, big congrats on the new release. If this is anything like your others it’s a winner for sure. And wow! Giving away a Nook really makes folks sit up and take notice. Your marketing ploy is surely working. You’re so fortunate to have your publisher firmly behind you. That support must be wonderful. I wouldn’t know. I can dream though. I’ve never had a publisher show such an interest in me. Lap it up, my dear Filly sister.
