Changes Here in the Corral

It’s with a sad heart to announce that Pat Potter is saddling up and leaving the Junction.  Monday will be her last day. Miss Pat is one of our founding members and has written some wonderful blogs over the years. I speak for all the Fillies in saying that we learned so much from her. That’s not to say that she won’t ever come back. Our door and our hearts will always be open to her. I’m sure she’ll visit us often. And those times will be a treat.

But, we’ve found a bang-up replacement…….Karen Witemeyer.

Miss Karen is no stranger.  She’s been a regular visitor and has guest blogged from time to time. The Fillies are jumping for joy to be able to have her full time. Her inspirational books are receiving much recognition and with good reason.

Also, this piece of news is tickling us to death………former Fillies Pam Crooks and Charlene Sands are returning to the fold.  Woo-Hoo and pass the cider!

Miss Pam and Miss Charlene have a great deal to offer. I promise not to make them muck out the stalls or clean the outhouse right off. I’ll let them settle in first. Hee-hee!

So, we’re losing one but gaining three. Sounds like a good deal to me.

I speak for all the Fillies in saying that we thank each of you who’ve made P&P your home. We hope you’ll continue to visit often. We’d be like a sad ol’ coon hound without our friends and have no reason to do what we do.

When I'm not keepin' all these Fillies in line, I'm practicing my roping so I can catch me a cowboy. Me and Jasper (my mule) are two peas in a pod. Both of us are as crotchety as all get-out.

  1. I have been a fan of Pat Potter since first reading one of her medieval stories. I will continue to ;look for visiting posts from her. It will be nice having more frequent posts from Pam, Charlene, and Karen.

I hope everyone is having a great 4th of July weekend.
