Spend the Weekend With Renee Ryan

marshaltakesbrideMiss Renee Ryan will be our honored guest tomorrow!

The Fillies are thrilled and honored to have her come visit our little town. Miss Renee will give an interestin’ talk on the differences in writing inspirational romance. Ah can’t wait to learn more about faith, hope, and yes, love. Can’t think of a better subject to discuss than rugged cowboys in love! Hee-hee!

Miss Renee will give away a ton of prizes. If you don’t believe me, then come to see for yourself. It’ll knock your eyes out! She’ll also talk about her new book The Marshal Takes a Bride.

If that sounds like a deal you can’t afford to pass up, drop what you’re doing and head this way.

We’ll save you a seat!

When I'm not keepin' all these Fillies in line, I'm practicing my roping so I can catch me a cowboy. Me and Jasper (my mule) are two peas in a pod. Both of us are as crotchety as all get-out.

  1. Renee:
I’m so pleased with your success in this genre. And wish you continuing success.
I thing suppressing all that sexuality from the page would probably be very hard for me. I’m so used to writing hot, hot, hot.
I’m glad you’ve found the key to skirting that and still maintaining a reader’s interest.

Though I don’t write them, I love Western Historicals. I too grew up on Bananza, read all the Zane Grey and Louis L’amour novels.
And am always on the lookout for western historicals, so I’ll be reading yours.

    Wish you all the best.

  2. Hi Renee,
You did an excellent job of explaining the key points of inspirational romance. It’s exciting to know that more and more readers are buying more and more of the kind of romance we write.

God didn’t let me publish in the secular market though I tried for years. I had to wait for this market to open and now in the past 11 years, I’ve had 25 new books out. #26 comes out in February. It’s a Western set in Texas, THE DESIRES OF HER HEART. I’ll be chatting about it when I guest here on Feb 28th. I love this site. It’s always interesting and FUN!

  3. Oops. I hit submit too fast. Don’t enter me in any contest–I prefer you let a reader or someone else win!
And I don’t know why I bothered to say this. I don’t win contests! GRIN
