Oh, poor Kay! I’m down with a bug of some kind today but stopping in at the Junction always makes me feel good. I am thrilled so many of you fillies like chocolate and Sam Elliott and John Wayne/Maureen O’Hara. I’m feeling right at home!
My favorite saying: Nothing’s so bad that it couldn’t get worse. (although I could add a couple of meaningful but snoozer ones from another fave, Henry David Thoreau.)

I am the one that won the Petticoats and Pistols basket in the Brenda Novak auction and I have to say that I am SO looking forward to reading the books! There are several new-to-me authors on here. I actually found this site because I love Karen Kay’s books! 🙂 I hope her hand heals quick! My daughter broke her arm 3 weeks ago…it’s gonna be a long summer. *sigh*

VERY interesting, ladies! You could get a few columns out of this. For one day each, you could have the themes of favorite western movie, couple, book, etc.
My favorite western book is Springwater by Linda Lael Miller. My favorite series is the McKettricks by her, too.

3:10 To Yuma was pretty great too…might be my fave western type movie
My fave dessert is pie…usually chocolate pie, but I like other kinds of pie too
My fave couple/matchup…doesnt not come from a movie… they come from a book and right now my fave is Juniper and Lily from Stacey’s new book THE GUNSLINGER’S UNTAMED BRIDE!!! LOVED those 2 characters!
