  1. Oh, poor Kay! I’m down with a bug of some kind today but stopping in at the Junction always makes me feel good. I am thrilled so many of you fillies like chocolate and Sam Elliott and John Wayne/Maureen O’Hara. I’m feeling right at home!

My favorite saying: Nothing’s so bad that it couldn’t get worse. (although I could add a couple of meaningful but snoozer ones from another fave, Henry David Thoreau.)

  2. I am the one that won the Petticoats and Pistols basket in the Brenda Novak auction and I have to say that I am SO looking forward to reading the books! There are several new-to-me authors on here. I actually found this site because I love Karen Kay’s books! 🙂 I hope her hand heals quick! My daughter broke her arm 3 weeks ago…it’s gonna be a long summer. *sigh*

    I love doing these things…

Favorite Western Movie or TV series — It’s a toss up between Tombstone and Lonesome Dove.

Favorite Western book — There are just too many to give one favorite. LOL

Favorite Western Match-up — Miss Kitty and Matt Dillon

    Favorite Cowboy — Sam Elliot

    Favorite Food — Cornbread Salad

    Favorite Dessert — Strawberry Shortcake

Favorite Motto or Quote to Live By: “Where there’s a will, there’s a way”

  3. When Charlene said: >>>She fell and broke her right hand not long ago and missed her day to blog. But that’s okay.

She didn’t mean it was OKAY that Karen broke her hand. She meant we are here and ready to help so she can rest her poor hand.

    Right? Charlene?

A more compassionate reading is in order. 😀

  4. Yep, Mary, I’m sure that’s what Charlene meant!

And Cindy, thank you SO much for bidding on our western loot bag. We hope you enjoy every goody in there!

  5. Mary
I love LLM’s books. I’ve read them all.
And thanks for clarifying the little blurb, though I didn’t write it. Pam posted this up in a quick hurry today. But we all know what she meant.:) We love you Kay! Feel better!
