Phyliss Miranda Saturday!

lindabroday.jpgIt’s that time of the week again, darlings. Ah know you’re wondering who’s coming so without further ado, I’ll get right to it. This Saturday we’ll host Miss Phyliss Miranda. She hails from the great state of Texas and is itching to talk about how she fell into this writing business. Plus she’ll discuss her story in the anthology, Give Me a Texan.

Old Joe, the telegrapher here in Wildflower Junction, said Miss Miranda’s hitched her team of mules to the wagon and finally got the ornery critters on the trail. ‘Course them mules take their own sweet time, but Miss Miranda will reach us by Saturday. Get out your Sunday-go-to-meetin’ clothes and join us in welcoming her. Take care now.

When I'm not keepin' all these Fillies in line, I'm practicing my roping so I can catch me a cowboy. Me and Jasper (my mule) are two peas in a pod. Both of us are as crotchety as all get-out.

  1. Hilary here (Phyliss’s editor in New York)…just so you know,Phyliss was spotted not too long ago roamin’ the high plains of Fifth Avenue and eyeballin’ some purty dresses at the Bergdorf Goodman Mercantile and sparkly rings-n-things at the Old Tiffany Gold-diggers Mine & Trinket Emporium. And when it came to subways, she and Jodi Thomas needed only one word of advice to cope with rush hour in Manhattan: stampede!

She’s pure Texas, of course, but quite the traveler. Looking forward to seeing her and a lot of other good friends at the Big Texan and Sam’s Place too!

  2. My goodness, Hilary, I hope you don’t drag Miss Miranda away from here! Ah do know how she loves to shop. Almost as much as she loves to talk and that’s quite a bit. Being the traveler the little darlin’ is she knows all about those stampedes. And she’s a pretty quick learner too. Glad you could mosey over to post a comment. Have fun at The Big Texan and Sam’s Place! 🙂
