THERE’S A NEW BOOK A COMIN’

A Kiss to Remember

On July 28—that’s only three days from now—A Kiss to Remember will release. It’s an anthology of five books by authors we know and (hopefully) love to read.

Her Sanctuary

Her Sanctuary by Tracy Garrett

Beautiful Maggie Flanaghan’s heart is broken when her father dies suddenly and the westward-bound wagon train moves on without her, leaving her stranded in River’s Bend. But Reverend Kristoph Oltmann discovers the tender beginnings of love as he comforts Maggie, only to find she harbors a secret that could make their relationship impossible

Gabriels-Law-Web

Gabriel’s Law by Cheryl Pierson

Brandon Gabriel is hired by the citizens of Spring Branch to hunt down the notorious Clayton Gang, never suspecting a double-cross. When Allison Taylor rides into town for supplies, she doesn’t expect to be sickened by the sight of a man being beaten to death by a mob—a man she recognizes from her past. Spring Branch’s upstanding citizens gather round to see a murder, but everything changes with the click of a gun—and Gabriel’s Law.

Outlaw Heart

Outlaw Heart, by Tanya Hanson

Making a new start has never been harder! Bronx Sanderson is determined to leave his old outlaw ways behind and become a decent man. Lila Brewster is certain that her destiny lies in keeping her late husband’s dream alive: a mission house for the down-and-out of Leadville, Colorado. But dreams change when love flares between an angel and a man with an Outlaw Heart.

The Dumont Way

The Dumont Way by Kathleen Rice Adams

The biggest ranch in Texas will give her all to save her children…but only the right woman’s love can save a man’s tortured soul. This trilogy of stories about the Dumont family contains The Trouble with Honey, a new, never-before-published novella. Nothing will stop this powerful family from doing things The Dumont Way.

YESTERDAYS FLAME PRP WebYesterday’s Flame by Livia J. Washburn

When smoke jumper Annabel Lowell’s duties propel her from San Francisco in 2000 back to 1906, she faces one of the worst earthquakes in history. But she also finds the passion of a lifetime in fellow fireman Cole Brady. Now she must choose between a future of certain danger and a present of certain love—no matter how short-lived it may be. “A timeless and haunting tale of love.” ~ The Literary Times

  1. Hi Tracy,

I love western historical romance as it takes me back in time when a mans word was enough, a woman could be a woman and life was hard but less complex. Plus I love cowboys!

  3. Congratulations on your upcoming release! I enjoy learning something new from the tidbits of history included, and I love the settings and the cowboys!

  4. Congrats on the upcoming release. I’ve always loved the old west and romance stories, so… (mango8@msn.com)

  5. Yee-haw! I’m excited about this boxed set, and I’m even more excited about my stories appearing along with yours, Tanya’s, Livia’s, and Cheryl’s. I’ve gotta say, I was swept away by HER SANCTUARY. Such a good story. Those two seemed so wrong for each other at first, but they turned out to make the perfect match. 🙂

Thanks for mentioning the set, Tracy!

  6. I have always loves westerns and historicals since I was a kid. I got mt library card at 5 when I could write my name and always went with my dad until he died when I had turned 6 a month and a half earlier. My mom would take us then and even until we moved when I was just 14 I was always going to a library, school and community. Historicals were it then and in full circle love them again still but know if I had lived then a bathroom needed haha no outhouses and clean hands a must. Thanks again on the chance. These days I love mail order and western cowboy types to read.

  7. Tracy, I really do love your characters and the town of River’s Bend you’ve created–a whole community filled with people we get to know and care about and really see as not just characters in a story. HER SANCTUARY was one of those stories that just kept those pages turning and me wanting to see “what happens next?”

So honored to have you with us at Prairie Rose Publications, and I am just thrilled to be part of this boxed set with you, Tanya, Kathleen, and Livia. THREE MORE DAYS!

    YEEHAW!!!

  8. Tracy, thanks from us all for the shout-out and for your wonderful Her Sanctuary. Stories about preachermen get me every time. I love how the wrong couple gets it right! Congratulations!!!

  9. First, congrats on the new release!!!!

To answer your question, I’ve loved history since I was a little girl and I particularly like the 1850-1900 American time period, maybe from my cowboy grandfather and his cowboy father and uncles.

Please don’t enter me in the contest, though. Someday I’ll get an ereader. But again: CONGRATS!

  10. Can’t wait. Already ordered, just trying to block the time I need to read it. **Smile** Congratulations Doris

  11. I love reading about most historical time periods and places. However, there’s something about reading about a time period and place that is closer both in time and location and is a bit more relatable to me. Plus, cowboys! 😉

  12. I love anthologies and this sounds like a good one. No need to enter my name in the giveaway, I preordered it last week.

  13. I still am amazed at all the people went thru with all the hardships, diseases, lack of proper medical attention and even childbirth where so many died both mothers and/or babies. Many were kids having kids and of all those that survived you can see why many were just lucky to have lived at all. Survival of the fittest. Again would stress cleanliness is next to Godliness and see where those that were religious and observant got that term. Better to live in a cleaner environment even if it was almost impossible to stay clean or healthy back then. Wives tales make sense now for sure. Great reading though especially if we travelled back in time, can you picture us devestated if we went back with no notice just wham, we arrived. No packing a bag of all supplies like they do in some stories where they are prepared and pack emergency supplies only after they survived their 1st time travel.
Sorry forgot my email last time
