The Fillies have tidied up the Junction in great anticipation of Miss Jo Goodman”s visit on Saturday, January 12th.
The dear lady is fairly new to us but she”s already shootin” out some awfully good stories. And she”s gaining lots of attention.
Miss Jo will give us the low-down on dime novels that were so popular in the old West. Seems the books play an important part in her newest book THE LAST RENEGADE. It”s a humdinger. I”ve already read it and can say that the hero, Kellen
Coltrane, made my heart go pitter-patter and my pulse race. What a man!
Miss Jo is toting one copy and a $10 gift card to the bookstore of the winner”s choice. Can”t beat that deal with a stick. But the thing is she must get ten comments.
So don”t lollygag around. Get your rear moving on Saturday and make tracks for the Junction.
When I'm not keepin' all these Fillies in line, I'm practicing my roping so I can catch me a cowboy. Me and Jasper (my mule) are two peas in a pod. Both of us are as crotchety as all get-out.
