Changes in the Corral

It’s with a sad heart that I must share this news. Stacey Kayne has saddled up and ridden from the corral. She’ll be sorely missed. While she was here she touched us in many ways. It was a joy to ride the trail with her. Whatever she chooses to do from here we know she’ll succeed because of her immense strength and determination. If you meet her on the trail give her a smile and a wave.

Taking her spot in the corral is Renee Ryan. We welcome this dear lady who already feels like a Filly sister. She’s been here many times as a guest and has written some interesting blogs. She hails from the beautiful state of Georgia. Her book COURTING THE ENEMY won the 2012 Daphne Du Maurier Award For Excellence in mystery/suspense.

Please make her feel welcome. Her first blog day is Wednesday, October 3rd. I think you’ll agree that she’ll make a dandy addition to our fold.

Maybe, just maybe she’ll be able to help me get some the orneriness out of Jasper, my mule. He’s a handful. He does make me mad enough to lose my religion from time to time.

When I'm not keepin' all these Fillies in line, I'm practicing my roping so I can catch me a cowboy. Me and Jasper (my mule) are two peas in a pod. Both of us are as crotchety as all get-out.

Well, bless your heart, Kirsten! We appreciate your howdy to welcome Miss Renee. We’re glad you like the new look too. Keepin’ the Junction an exciting place to visit is what we strive to do. That keeps us busier than a beaver during dam-building time. Jasper, my mule, is grinning at that. He likes when I talk plain.
