   Lovely and informative post.  We have not been very good about sending out cards the past few years.  Life has gotten so chaotic I&#039;m not even keeping up with what regularly needs to be done.  It is a shame.  I love hearing from friends who live all over.  Often it is a case of touching base once a year, but that is important. 
I like serious cards for the most part.  There have been some cute funny ones though.  The ones you have in your post are lovely.
