This is strange I cook all the time, but I have never made a gingerbread man. I have bought them at the store and I do love them.

Our tree has a mixture of ornaments we have collected over the years. My sister always get the children an ornament every year until they are 18 then she stops. My son turned 18 last year so he got his last one. So he has 18 ornaments for his tree when he moves out on his own.

Ornaments from childhood? The different colored shiny glass balls, the plastic "icicles" as well as the silver strands that globbed up and made a mess, but boy it was fun to fling on the tree.

My tree now is a jumble of old ornaments as well as annual collectibles, red bows and ornaments made at school. I don't use the silver strands of icicles, but I love my gold garland that decks it out.

I love how little gingerbread men look, and I'd love to eat the cookies, but heartburn ensues and that be the end of the fun for me! LOL

Thanks for sharing!

I always wanted a perfectly decorated tree but my children had their own 'vision' and usually we ended up with a mish mash. but it was fun.
