I have a village that started when my daughter who is 22 was young. After Christmas one year, she bought two village pieces on sale. They became Mother's Day, Birthday gifts, etc. and from there grew a family tradition. Every year a piece or two and figures were added to the village as pieces were found on sale. These are plaster pieces that were painted by both my daughters and my husband helped on figures. I treasure this village because not one piece is in it that wasn't a gift from my girls. Now they are grown and away from home but that gift keeps on blessing me.
