Shame, shame! No mention of Clint Walker in the role of Cheyenne Bodie? This guy should be in the Hunk Hall of Fame…tall in the saddle at 6’6” tall, and that delicious voice! Don’t believe this 69 year old retiree? Do your research…step back down memory trail. Clint is active at 81 year olds, lives in northern California, and mans his own website of memorabilia! His western series appeared on TV in 1956 (I was junior in high school) and ran for 8 seasons!! Recently, I purchased the Cheyenne First Season DVD (3-disc collection) and found these western episodes of yesteryear truly entertaining. After 52 years, the Cheyenne character still swoons me out. I look forward to visiting your suggested website of old oaters.

Hi,

I developed my love for cowboys on those old Saturday morning reruns. I remember watching Roy Rogers, The Lone Ranger, Rin Tin Tin, Sky King, and Fury. We also were big fans of The High Chaparel and Big Valley. I also recall some short-lived show called Stage Coach West, with Wayne Rogers who went on to play Trapper, in M*A*S*H. I also fell in love with Sam Elliot when he played in the made-for-TV movies based on Louis L'Amour's Sackett family.

Linda, Robert Fuller is one of the reasons I buy "Emergency!" on DVD! I would love for Laramie to come out on DVD so I could see it (I wasn't even thought of at that time). I want to get Gunsmoke on DVD and would love to have the series from 2003 "Peacemakers" make it to DVD. There were only 8 episodes of that show but I'd love to have them.
