I love westerns, but as you know I’m presently not writing them. I enjoy being part of this group, bu
t with my present schedule, I don’t have as much time as I’d like to devote to the site or as much time as the site and the other fillies deserve—so I’m not really doing my share to make this wonderful site a success. Therefore, I’ve decided that I need to ride off into the sunset.
Mary Connealy has graciously agreed to fill the spot that I’ll vacate. She’s been incredibly enthusiastic about the site, provides interesting and informative posts quite often, and I know she’ll be a terrific asset to the group and to our visitors.
I’ll drop by from time to time and y’all will be the first to know if I ever get a contract to write another western. Meanwhile, thanks for visiting me here. I’ve enjoyed spending time with you.
Now let’s give an enthusiastic welcome to our new filly, Mary.

Lorraine, we’ve told you good-by on our private loop, but let me tell the world and you again how much we appreciated you jumping on our band wagon and all you did to help launch Petticoats, then later help schedule our guests. It’s been a delight to ‘meet’ you and work with you. You didn’t have to write westerns to be an asset and a new friend.
A BIG cyber hug to you! We’ll miss you, but we understand your new commitment to RWA and that all your deadlines are a zap to your time.

I’m excited to be part of Petticoats and Pistols. I figured out how to log into the site and look forward to the day my cyber fumbling accidentally links us to some group with will lead us all to ruin. Or crashing the site or, well, you know, there are great possibilities.

Mary: You’ll do great - there probably isn’t anything we do that Pam can’t undo. She’s a whiz at managing the technical aspects of the site.
